Laura is a multifaceted entrepreneur, singer-songwriter, and co-founder of both Black Marker Records and tech start-up Talivest. Her passion for music began in Toronto, where she immersed herself in the indie scene and established her own band, Scobo. The group's dynamic sound captivated the Canadian music scene, securing performances at renowned venues and festivals such as NXNE, Canadian Music Week, and Indie Music Week.
Upon her arrival in Ireland, Laura eagerly engaged with the local music scene. She recorded her forthcoming album at the esteemed HellFire Studio and Camden Recording, collaborating with accomplished producer Robin Ball and Third Man Records for mastering. Already, three singles from the album have gained recognition from radio stations and music publications worldwide.
Beyond music, Laura has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit in the tech industry and through Black Marker Records, where she supports daring artists who challenge conventions. Her ultimate goal is to inspire and empower the next generation of audacious female leaders, demonstrating that they can pursue their most ambitious dreams both on stage and in the boardroom.
